Blue Pencil is proud to announce that the final piece of the puzzle in its restructure has been completed. Blue Pencil was recently awarded its Level 3 B-BBEE Contribution Certificate.
“With the change in the market, we had to go back to the drawing board and realign the business, but still remain focused on our vision of retaining our status as one of the top SAP services partners in South Africa,” says Managing Director Graham Henderson.
“Achieving our Level 3 reaffirms our commitment to creating sustainable employment and enterprise development in South Africa. It is now more important than ever to be part of building the ICT sector in South Africa to what should be the IT powerhouse of Africa and a skills pool for global consumption.” With the recent spate of bad press surrounding the ICT sector, service providers need to regain the trust of the market.
Companies are re-evaluating their vendor lists and looking for alternative service providers with the right credentials and ethos that they can identify with. Henderson firmly believes Blue Pencil is perfectly positioned to be the vendor of choice for the private and public sector as they have the proven track record, the accolades, and the passion to be the best.
Blue Pencil has also managed to maintain its Silver SAP Partnership status, as well as the SAP Certification of Recognised Expertise. Blue Pencil’s presence in the market for the past 14 years servicing the staff augmentation, blended e-learning and SAP Solution Manager market has been expanded to include additional services covering DevOps and SAP testing. Henderson went on to comment that fundamental to Blue Pencil’s culture is to make its people awesome and, in so doing, make its clients awesome too.
